Roadrunner Rundown

December 2025

Roadrunners are safe, respectful, and responsible!

Dear Parents and Families,

November has been an exciting month at Town & Country, and we’re grateful for your continued partnership in creating a positive and engaging school experience for our students.

Our social media pages have been full of amazing classroom moments—hands-on activities, engaged learners, and joyful learning. We invite you to follow along on Facebook to see the wonderful things happening across campus each day!

We are proud to share that Town & Country has officially earned the Purple Star designation, recognizing our commitment to supporting military-connected students and families. This month, we also celebrated Veterans Day Spirit Week, honoring those who have served through themed days and meaningful classroom conversations.

A huge thank-you goes out to our families for helping make our Edward Jones Food Drive a huge success! With your generosity, our school collected 1,036 food items to support local families in need. Congratulations to Mrs. Sides’ class, who led the donation effort with 382 items!

Our teachers continue to grow and learn to bring the very best instructional practices to your children. During Workshop Wednesday, Ms. Russell shared her “Read the Room” activity and her math fluency strategies that build student collaboration, and Mrs. Jones demonstrated her new skill of using Canva AI to create fun, standards-based learning centers.

Teachers also participated in a high-energy professional development session connected to our schoolwide book study, Classrooms in Motion. Staff stepped into our “Centers Lab” to experience hands-on, movement-based learning stations—just like the ones students enjoy in their classrooms. When teachers learn together, students benefit!

Thank you for your ongoing support, your encouragement, and the trust you place in us each day. We are proud to partner with you as we help every Roadrunner grow, learn, and shine.

With appreciation,

Ms. Elson

T&C Principal

General Reminders:

  • There is no entry into the main parking lot during student arrival or dismissal to ensure the buses can easily enter and exit.

  • Class starts promptly at 8:00 A.M. Students must be in their classrooms by then, or they will be marked tardy.

  • If your student is late, you must park and sign them in.

  • Parents, please ensure you sign in and out when coming onto campus.

  • If you have not liked our Facebook page, please do so! Updates and photos are being shared regularly!

  • Please ensure you are signed up for our PBIS Rewards App. Please reach out to your student's teachers if you need the information.

  • If you are interested in serving on our school site council, I still need more parent representation. These meetings are always open to the public.

  • Please check Parent VUE regularly to see how your child performs in school.

We have been challenged to increase our followers on social media!  Let's be the best school in SVUSD!
