Roadrunner Rundown

November 2025

Roadrunners are safe, respectful, and responsible!

Dear Parents and Families,

As we settle into November and embrace the fall season, I want to take a moment to share some exciting updates and accomplishments from our school. It has been an incredible start to the year, and I’m proud of the progress we’ve made together as a school community.

Here are a few highlights from the month:

State Letter Grade: A for the Second Year in a Row!

We’ve increased our score from 87.7 to an impressive 91.64! This is a direct reflection of the hard work and dedication of both our students and staff.

We are one of only two schools in the district to earn this A grade and are proud to be among the highest-scoring schools in the county! Huachuca Mountain and Town and Country are the two highest-scoring elementary schools in the county.

PBIS Fall Carnival: A Big Success!

Thank you to all the families who attended and supported our PBIS Fall Carnival. It was a fun and engaging event for students and families alike.

Our PBIS program continues to have a positive impact, with consistently high scores above 85% in promoting positive behavior and fostering a school culture.

Workshop Wednesday – Shout-Out to 5th and 6th Grades!

Our 5th and 6th-grade teachers are doing an outstanding job with their Workshop Wednesday sessions, especially in 6th-grade math centers. These collaborative learning opportunities help deepen student engagement and learning.

Ongoing Internal Learning Walks:

To continue improving instruction, we are conducting learning walks where teachers observe one another and share best practices. This allows our educators to grow professionally and provides your child with even more effective instruction.

Classrooms in Motion – Chapter Two:

This month, we are continuing our work with personalized learning tools and center stations. These initiatives help students take ownership of their learning and work at their own pace, tailored to their needs.

We are so grateful for your continued support in creating a positive and productive school environment. Together, we are building a strong foundation for our students' success, and I look forward to seeing how we continue to grow this year.

Thank you for being such an integral part of our school community. Let’s keep up the great work as we head into the rest of the fall!

Warm regards,

Ms. Elson

T&C Principal
